Cathedral Caverns, is a unique Alabama state park. Located in Woodville, Alabama, this formation-rich cave system has tours throughout the day by experienced guides. The path through the cave is wide and well lit making it a generally easy trek. There are some inclines that might make the journey a little tougher for those with mobility issues, as in non-wheelchair friendly. The temperature in the cave stays at 58 degrees year round making it an excellent destination any time of the year. The park encompasses 493 acres and includes hiking trails, camping, picnic pavilions and a gemstone mining opportunity.
