how to mouse explained

Hello! Welcome to our little “regularly updated website or web page, typically run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.”

Why are we here? First, we at “how to mouse,” like so many others, have a rather obsessive love of all things Disney and more specifically, Disney World.

We also have an extensive background in recreation and trip planning and believe we have things to offer that might be helpful to those venturing off to Orlando to spend an absurd amount of cash on the beloved House of Mouse.

Some of the ideas presented will be things you’ve heard before because after all, doesn’t everyone write blogs about Disney? Just yesterday, we read a post entitled “The 100 Best Disney Blogs.” Some of you may think we meant “The 100 Disney Blogs in Existence” and you would be wrong because we said “The 100 BEST Disney Blogs.” So out of all the Disney blogs that exist, the authors of that post were able to narrow it down to 100. Some of you may think they narrowed it down to a Top 10 list because that’s usually how things are written, but again, you would be wrong because we said it was the top one followed by hundred. Sheesh.

So why on earth would we write a blog about Disney when there are so many others? Because we’re competitive and we believe we can bury the rest of them. Wait, no. We have spoken too many words. Where’s the delete button?  Our words should have said “We want to join in with our fellow Disney bloggers to share the love and warmth of Disney Magic to people everywhere.”

But the question that you the reader have been eagerly awaiting is “What does ‘how to mouse’ mean?” First, you need to read the word “mouse” as a verb. Think of it in terms of winning. So when we have a post that reads “How to mouse the queue lines,” you could rephrase it to “How to win the queue lines.”

Why are we making this more complicated than it needs to be? Before we get to that have you ever considered the word “queue” is just a “q” followed by four silent letters? Do you feel like Dori is writing this post?
